This is one of the reasons I really like the Levenger products. They are all great quality and designed for convenience, and long term use. The big office supply outlets pretty much reflect the short-sighted philosophy of so many American businesses, as demonstrated by our current economic condition. Cheap everything. Store-brand everything. As if the implements we use to do our every-day work should be just as bland and disposable as the work itself. It's ok, just as the rise of the big box home improvement stores killed off many hardware stores but then gave opportunity to specialty woodworking stores, I think we'll see new opportunity for stores to sell the quality stuff.
