The Office Supply Geek
By
Have you ever used a binder clip to fix or create something…something that did not just simply involve holding a stack of papers together? Have you ever found yourself in the pen aisle at Staples for an embarrassing amount of time?
I plan on keeping this blog updated with the typical things that any self proclaimed office supply geek would want to know. I look forward to sharing reviews and insight on anything and everything office (or I guess school) supply related. If you would find it on a desk, I hope to have something to say about it here.

Yes, spending an embarrassingly long time at the pen aisle sounds exactly like me.
Ruby, glad I’m not alone…now I’m off to check out your site. Thanks for stopping by.
I love office supplies, but I’m discovering that the old office supply store with an air of quality is long gone. The big office supply outlets pretty much reflect the short-sighted philosophy of so many American businesses, as demonstrated by our current economic condition. Cheap everything. Store-brand everything. As if the implements we use to do our every-day work should be just as bland and disposable as the work itself.
It’s ok, just as the rise of the big box home improvement stores killed off many hardware stores but then gave opportunity to specialty woodworking stores, I think we’ll see new opportunity for stores to sell the quality stuff. Let’s just hope it happens soon!
Steve,
Great insight, and I totally agree. This is one of the reasons I really like the Levenger products. They are all great quality and designed for convenience, and long term use. When I buy stuff from there I always do so knowing full well that I’ll have whatever I buy for years to come.
Thanks for coming by and sharing your opinion.
