Despite some major challenges because of the way Google does things, we had a great year here. Our traffic may have significantly dropped because of the aforementioned Google changes, however with your help and support we have been regaining lost ground. I would like to thank you for an amazing year in 2013 if you are a reader or do anything else to help keep the blog engaging and attractive to the office supply community. All of our supporters, readers, sponsors, social media fans/followers and anyone that links to our stories play a critical part in making it possible to deliver content on a regular basis.
I think its always fun to look at statistics and understand why things are the way that they are, so with that said, here is a look at the top 225 sites that sent us the most readers this past year, excluding Google, Yahoo, Bing, Twitter, Facebook, and the like:
9. Gourmet Pens
7. WellAppointedDesk (Non-Tumblr Blog)
1. Pen Addict – Because Brad wasn’t happy with just having his new project with Nock Co. appear in our list, he wanted to have TWO entries in our top 10. 🙂 Good job, seriously Brad.
In addition to the sites that referred our most viewers, I’d also like to thank our biggest site sponsors in no particular order:
Goldspot and JetPens – For sponsoring our monthly giveaways that you should be signed up for, and checking your email to see if you won. They also provide us free/discounted samples for some of the review here, so a huge thanks for that.
Also a huge thank you to all of our social media supporters that help spread the word with all of your liking, following, sharing, reblogging, and retweeting on Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest.
It is no stretch to say that without all of you and your support this blog would have shut down long ago, so a huge thank you to each and every one of you, even if I didn’t mention you individually or if I forgot you somehow. Looking forward to a 2014 full of more cool office supplies and all of your support.
I wish all of you and your friends and families a happy, healthy, and SAFE 2014.
