BIC 4 Color Ball Point Pen in “Fashion Colors”
Posted by: | CommentsAbout a year ago I reviewed the classic Bic 4 Color Multi Pen that got me through grade school, and many important tasks like tracking my rotisserie baseball stats before we had the life-changing innovations that brought us things like online fantasy baseball. At the time, that pen was one of the coolest things any trapper-keeper sporting 5th grader could ask for, these days there are tons of better options, but that didnt stop the good folks at Bic from giving that old classic a make over in the form of the BIC 4 Color “Fashion Colors” series.
Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen
Posted by: | CommentsThere is a brand new pen from Zebra over at JetPens, the Zebra Surari Emulsion Ink Pen, which you may have also seen over at our friends blog, The PenAddict. According to the product description over at JetPens, the ink in the Zebra Surari combines the smoothness of an oil-based ballpoint pen, with the vibrant colors of a gel ink pen. The first thing that came to mind as a comparison for these was the popular Uniball Jetstream line which is also a very smooth writing line of pens that is a mix between a ballpoint and gel ink pen.
Fisher Trekker Space Pen Review
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the items I saw and picked up at the National Stationery Show this year was this Trekker Fisher Space Pen (available in black too). For a long time I’ve been meaning to do a review of one of the Space Pens but for whatever reason I never got around to it.
Uniball Power Tank Smart Series Pen for Hot and Cold Weather
Posted by: | CommentsI love any review where I get to start by saying “DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME!“ With the Uniball Power Tank Smart Series (see it here from JetPens)there are certain things about it that just beg for some extreme testing, like the claims that it is a great cold weather pen and also a great hot weather pen as well as being able to write upside down and on wet paper. The first half of the review will be the usual stuff, but the last half will be the more fun stuff that YOU SHOULD NOT TRY AT HOME.
Uniball Jetstream Color Series – Orange
Posted by: | CommentsI was excited when I saw that JetPens (links to all the colors) had some new versions of what I believe are the best ballpoint pens you can get, the Uniball Jetstream. Being that I’m a pretty big fan of many things orange, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to pick up an orange ballpoint pen. Standard disclaimer here…no discount from JetPens, this pen was purchased by yours truly.
Pentel Flexfit II 1.0mm Ballpoint Pen Review
Posted by: | CommentsThe friendly folks over at StationeryArt.com were kind enough to send over this Pentel Flexfit II Ballpoint pen in blue to review. The Pentel Flexfit is unique because of the custom 11 position adjustable grip, and the sturdy clip that also acts as a way to retract the tip of the pen. Some of the pictures in this review require a close up look, so be sure to click on the photos to see the unique details of the pen.
Paper Mate Biodegradable Pen Review
Posted by: | CommentsEnvironmentally friendly, or green office supplies are appearing more and more often, so I thought I would take a look at the Paper Mate Biodegradable Pen that I picked up from OfficeMax and which is also available in more varieties here from Amazon. There is also a biodegradable mechanical pencil version which I didn’t pick up to test out, but judging from the pictures of it, its got a similar look and feel.
Pilot Acroball Ballpoint 7mm Review
Posted by: | CommentsWith my last post on the Pilot G2, @dowdyism from the PenAddict (click the link for his review) left a comment that reminded me I had never reviewed the Pilot Acroball 7mm ballpoint pen that I picked up from JetPens a few months ago. I figured now was a good time to do the review before I forget again.
OXO Good Grips Retractable Ballpoint Pens
Posted by: | CommentsAs you may know, OXO Good Grips has a new line of home office supplies that are distributed exclusively by Staples, so today I want to share the OXO GOOD GRIPS™ Retractable Ballpoint Pens with you. As a side note, these were not given to me by either Staples or OXO Good Grips, I purchased them at my local Staples myself for my ever-growing stash of home office supplies.
UGLee Pen Super Comfortable Ergonomic Pen
Posted by: | CommentsThe UGLee Pen might be one of the most interesting looking pens I’ve ever seen, but just looking cool isnt enough to fit into the cool office supplies category. Lucky for this pen, it has much more than just a unique look going for it. It was designed by Doctor James Lee who has spent a good deal of his life in search of a pen that can be used all day that doesnt result in cramping, or fatiuge.
Uniball Jetstream Premier 1mm
Posted by: | CommentsEventually you might get tired of coming to this site looking for cool office supplies only to find yet another review of a slightly different Uniball Jetstream, but I assure you that I think this may be one of the last Jetstream reviews for a while. Not because I don’t like them anymore, but just because I think I’ve covered the majority of the Jetstream line. This version is readily available from Amazon here for about $7.00 if you are interested.
The Bookmarker Flag Pen and Bookmark by Everyday Innovations
Posted by: | CommentsBack in May when I went to the 2009 National Stationery Show to scout out some unique office supplies, I ran into Alan Regala from Everyday Innovations and he showed me the new Bookmarker Flag Pen and Bookmark that they were introducing. It struck me as being such a simple but basic idea so it really had my attention as a new office supply that could really make peoples lives a bit easier by giving them less to carry around. Lucky for me, Alan was kind enough to send over a sample of the Bookmarker free of charge for me to review and share with you.
