Leuchtturm1917 Ruled Notebook Review
Posted by: | CommentsThe Leuchtturm1917 notebook is relatively new in the US market, however as its name implies it has been around since 1917, and with the tag line “Details Matter” you can tell from the notebook that they have spent those 90 years perfecting the little details of their notebooks. I picked up this version of the Small Ruled Leuchtturm1917 from Organize.com a few weeks ago, and am now getting to review this fun office supply.
A Notebook in Disguise
Posted by: | CommentsWhen I spoke with the nice folks at DayCraft, I asked them about their line of notebooks that looked like laptops, and although they told me that they were not going forward with production because of quality concerns, they agreed to send me one anyway. So keeping in mind that you will never be able to buy one of these, I thought Id share anyway because I thought it was a great idea, and visually, it looks pretty cool.
Daycraft Signature Notebook with 100g Paper
Posted by: | CommentsBack in December, I was contacted by the people who manufacture the Daycraft series of notebooks and planners to see if I would try out some of their products and review them here. At first I was a bit reluctant because they were not yet offering their products here in the US, however being that they are so popular in China, and that they do have plans for introducing these into the US soon, I figured I should check them out. I was also intrigued because the paper in this notebook is advertised as 100 gsm, putting it a shade thicker and heavier than what you would find in the 90 gsm Rhodia Web Notebooks that are always a pleasure to write in.

Posted by: | CommentsI’m not sure how many of you are aware, but Australia Day is coming up on January 26th, and I just so happen to have been given some cool office supplies from the folks at Marbig who is actually an Australian office supplies company. O’BONanza Series Sugar Cane Paper Notebook
Posted by: | CommentsThis environmentally friendly notebook was sent to me by O’BON a little while ago, and I’ve been a little slow in getting around to reviewing it. The unique thing about it is that the paper in it is made from sugar cane pulp which is also known as Bagasse. This green notebook can be found at the O’BON site here, along with many other green office supplies from them.
Uniball Signo 207 Ink Drying Test
Posted by: | CommentsRecently I had a comment on my first Uniball Signo 207 review regarding the drying time for this ink on different papers. When I went back and looked at the review, I realized that I never did any kind of test to see how quickly these pens dry. So Luis, here is an update to take a look at the Signo 207 on some different paper.
Quo Vadis 18 Month Monthly 4 Planner and Calendar
Posted by: | CommentsWith 2009 coming to an end, you still have some time to pick out that next calendar or planner and lucky for us, my friends from Exaclair were kind enough to send me this 2009-2010, 18 month monthly planner to review and share with you. Right off the bat, one of the things that I like about any of the Quo Vadis products is that they are made in the USA, and it’s not always easy to find good quality home office supplies that are made here.
2010 Ecosystem 12-Month Monthly Planner
Posted by: | CommentsFollowing up on my review of the ecosystem journals, I wanted to now take a look at the series of planners that they also offer which are made with the same 100% post consumer recycled materials, and are also manufactured in the US. The manufacturer of these planners and journals was kind enough to send these samples over for me to review, so I will also be doing a giveaway of the planner and one of the journals that I previously reviewed. Keep an eye out for that giveaway shortly, but for now I hope you enjoy this review.
Ecosystem Environmentally Friendly Journals
Posted by: | CommentsSometimes it’s not enough to just have some unique or cool office supplies, it helps to know that you are also using environmentally friendly office supplies, and supporting American jobs. In the case of these journals from ecosystem and Barnes & Noble, you can accomplish both of those goals. The folks at ecosystem were kind enough to send over these three samples for me to review, but for now we are only going to focus on two of them, the Author and the Artist journals. The planner, also known as the Advisor will get its own review in the next few days.
Pantone Universe Notebook Flame Orange
Posted by: | CommentsI almost forgot I had this Pantone Universe A5 notebook that I picked up from Maido in San Francisco a few months ago. Being a big fan of most things orange, it was hard to pass this one up when I saw it, and I thought Id make this review a little fun by using only orange pens and ink since I do have a good variety of them.
How to Make a Good Decision – The Pro & Con Pad
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve seen these notepads around before so when the folks at Usefulthings.com offered me one to review, I thought it would make for a fun post. In the past I have actually drawn up something similar to this when I was stuck with a hard decision, and it turned out to be pretty helpful.
