Pull-and-Pop Paper Clip Dispenser from Jared Joyce
Posted by: | CommentsFriend to Office Supply Geeks everywhere, and accomplished Inventor, Jared Joyce has come up with yet another great idea that will help organize your office supplies and make you the envy of your office mates. His “Pull-and-Pop” Paper Clip Dispenser brings organization to a situation that is usually an unwieldy mess. With this latest invention, Jared has transformed the traditionally messy magnetic paper clip dispenser into a “one at a time” organized and visually appealing addition for your desk.
Dry Erase Magnet Board from Three By Three Seattle
Posted by: | CommentsI’m a big fan of the products that come from my friends over at Three by Three Seattle, they do a great job with their innovative and stylish designs of some really great quality office products. In the past I’ve reviewed their Dry Erase Bamboo Entry Butler which I loved so much that I made it part of my Editors Choice Awards for last year, and this Magnetic Dry Erase Board is a similar product but with enough differences that it warrants taking a look at. Also, big thanks to Gwen for sending this sample over to me for review.
Post-it Notes Grip Pop-Up Dispenser
Posted by: | CommentsThis fairly innocuous looking box of Post-it Notes is part of the Post-it “grip” series that I’ve reviewed in the past they are the Post-it notes Grip Pop-up Dispenser. Back in April of last year, I took a look at one of the other items in this line, which was the desk set of Post-it flags with the grip, which I thought was really cool and useful.
A Mini Stapler: The PaperPro Nano
Posted by: | CommentsStaplers can sometimes be a not so exciting product, they are usually pretty boring looking and don’t offer much in the way of the whole “cool factor” like some other office supplies can. This Nano PaperPro mini stapler changes all of that in more than a few ways though. Between its cool, colorful design, and impressive functionality, this mini stapler really makes stapling a lot more fun, easy and effortless. On top of all of that, this mini stapler is so small that it will easily fit in any drawer, backpack, or laptop bag. It also has a small metal D-ring that goes across the back to allow you to hang this somewhere at your workstation if needed.
Levenger 3×5 Index Cards
Posted by: | CommentsA few days ago I wrote about the new Moleskine Index Cards, and they got a lot of feedback, so I thought it would be a good time to share these 3″x5″ Levenger index cards while still had index cards on the mind. This set of index cards is from Levenger’s sampler pack, so keep in mind they have plenty of other options too including customized ones that you can get your name, contact info, or anything else printed on.
Moleskine Folio Tools: StickNotes
Posted by: | CommentsLast week we took a look at the new Moleskine Index Cards that I saw back in May at the National Stationery Show, and this week we’ve got the Moleskine version sticky notes to review. Just for the record as we go on here, they are called Moleskine StickNotes, and I didnt miss they “y” when I typed this, although it is very tempting to refer to them as sticky notes. A quick note too, the photo above still has the removable Moleskine packaging on it with their logo and product info, that is just a paper slip that comes right off.
Man Shaped Paper Clips
Posted by: | Comments
Paper clips generally don’t allow you to express much individuality, but these man shaped paper clips that I picked up from JetPens, allow you to do just that. Sun-Star is the manufacturer of these unique paper clips that come in both male and female versions, the men are pretty generic, while the women have a little dress or skirt shape added to them.
Bamboo Dry Erase Desk Top To Do Board from Three by Three Seattle
Posted by: | CommentsLast year I had the privilege of meeting the fine folks from Three by Three Seattle at the National Stationery show and I ended up reviewing their bamboo dry erase entry butler which I also picked as one of the top office supplies for 2009. This year when I stopped by their booth at the National Stationery Show, I saw tons of new products that I’ve since been waiting to get my hands on to review. Lucky for me, I just got a nice box full of stuff from them to review, so you will be seeing some of it over the next few weeks.
Stitch-it Staple-less Stapler from Inventor Jared Joyce
Posted by: | CommentsBack in April I highlighted Jared Joyce, an inventor of some pretty innovative office supplies, and at the time I shared some information on his Tape Stamp that he was introducing. As I write this today, Jared has another really cool office supply in the works. The photo above might not instantly remind you of any familiar office supply, however what you are looking at is intended to replace an every day desktop item that you have definitely used before.
Moleskine Index Cards: Professional Memo Cards
Posted by: | CommentsI first saw these Moleskine Professional Memo Cards (or simply Moleskine Index Cards is a more simple description) at the National Stationery Show earlier this year, and was recently able to get my hands on a pck of them. These are one of the many new items from Moleskine that I referred to in my last newsletter (sign up for it here if you have not already) that I’ve got lined up to review. I also decided that I should get going on my index card reviews when I recently read Brad’s nice gridded index card review over at the PenAddict the other day so I could mix it up from the usual pen and notebook reviews.
Men’s Wood Valet for Pens, Watches, and Glasses
Posted by: | CommentsA few months ago I started out on a mission that I thought would be an easy one. I was looking for a nice wood men’s valet to hold all of my pens, watches, and glasses…sounds simple enough, right? Well, I’m here to tell you that it was not nearly as easy to find as I thought it would be. I spent weeks searching online, and emailing people and I was unable to find anything other than some really cheap looking options that looked like they were slapped together in some factory that mass-produced nothing but garbage. After becoming frustrated I took a different route and started looking for woodworkers that might be able to build me a custom wood valet for all of my pens, glasses, and watches. I knew I would have to pay a bit more with this option since it would be exactly what I wanted, and I’d be much more likely to get a high quality product. My search led me to the incredibly friendly and easy to work with folks at Nastrovia Gifts. For my usual full disclosure as required by law, I do want to point out that as with some of the products I review, I did get a slight discount on this product.
Mini Business Card File Cabinet from ThinkGeek
Posted by: | CommentsThe Mini Business Card File Cabinet from ThinkGeek.com actually made me laugh when I saw it because I thought is was such a good idea. It seems like such a simple, yet creative solution for storing business cards. I feel bad because I know this will be a pretty short review, but again, I just loved the idea and wanted to share this here with you.
